Watering Tips

HOW TO WATER PLANTS SUCH AS AZALEAS & RHODODENDRONS

Watering is very important the first year the plant is planted in the ground. The limited root systems on these plants make them very susceptible to dry weather damage. When watering, water enough to soak through the base of the root system twice a week at ½" of water. Water during hot weather unless there is a least 1" of rainfall per week.
